The second bunker in our collection is located in Brođani. There is nothing new to say as far as the history and purpose of the bunker itself is concerned. It served to defend the railway in Karlovac-Sisak. In fact, the most interesting thing is that here we see a glimmer of hope for preserving such structures. The bunker is in a good state, and the environment around it is cultivated. The bunker is also closed and locked so as not to be destroyed. From a variety of sources we learned that the city of Karlovac and the Ministry of Tourism have ensured funds for the restoration and preservation of two bunkers, this in Brođani and neighbouring (across the river Kupa) in Rečica.
